Player evaluations
Purpose
A matrix for coaches to assess players against several criteria per match or period.
Features
- Matrix entry: Quickly enter scores for all players across competencies in a grid.
- Tips & tops: Add written strengths and areas for improvement per player.
- Templates: Choose evaluation templates, such as technique, effort or tactics.
- PDF export: Generate blank or completed evaluation forms to print or share.
- History: Review earlier assessments to monitor progress.
Evaluation date
For a new evaluation, choose the date the assessment concerns. It defaults to today. You can enter an assessment retrospectively as long as its date falls within the selected team’s season. This also applies when creating an evaluation from the matrix. Entry time is recorded separately.
Buttons for a completed PDF and blank form directly download an A4 document in doHockey styling. The completed version contains scores, standards, charts and feedback; the blank form provides space for answers. Save changes before downloading a completed PDF.
The team-evaluation analysis PDF also downloads directly. It uses saved, completed evaluations and includes the summary, score distribution, averages, player overview, charts and feedback.
