Adding goals afterwards
Choose Goal, the match time and scoring team. Team names include Home or Away. Enter minutes or minutes:seconds, such as 21:30. The period follows match settings automatically; Adjust period lets you override it. An existing manual period choice is retained when editing.
For your own team, optionally select a goalscorer. Add description saves your own note. An existing description appears immediately when editing.
The form shows Score after this goal as a calculated result. Choose Save goal to confirm. Subsequent intermediate scores and the result update after saving, including when moving a goal, changing its scoring team or deleting it.
To adjust the score manually, choose Score change and enter the desired home and away scores. A score correction remains the fixed starting point for subsequent events. Changing an earlier event therefore does not change the corrected score.
Entering a goal timeline for the first time in a match with only a manual final score? Record every goal, or first establish a known intermediate score with a correction. The new timeline determines the result.
Older events may contain a stored score change of more than one goal. If a change is ambiguous, a message appears and it is not saved. Check the intermediate score first and, if necessary, record a correction immediately before that goal.
