Guides and practical help for coaches, teams, players and trainers.
Signing in and registering
Open doHockey in your browser or through its home-screen icon. Use the same account on desktop and phone. Choose Dutch or English on the login screen.
Signing in
- With password: Enter your email address and password. The eye icon lets you check what you typed.
- With magic link: Request an email login code and follow the instructions on screen and in the email. Check spam if nothing arrives.
- Forgot password: Use the recovery option and follow the emailed instructions.
After several unsuccessful password attempts, a waiting period may appear. Wait until Try again in has elapsed. The password field and sign-in button are disabled during this time; you can still request a login code or recover your password.
Requesting an account
Choose open-beta registration. Enter your name and email address and complete verification. Then choose your country, club and team and set your password. For the Netherlands, search the club list; for other countries, enter club details manually.
For a new team, choose its composition and Outdoor, Indoor or Both. You can leave composition unset. After gaining access, review the team’s formations. Selecting an existing team does not change it.
Awaiting access
If your club is already known to doHockey, the final registration step explains this. Your account is created and you can sign in to view your application status. Club and requested-team access begins only after the club manager approves you, linking you to the existing team or creating it on approval.
After registration and when signing in, Club access awaiting approval shows the club and team you are waiting for. While the request is open, doHockey shows only this notice: no Dugout, navigation menu or other workspace. You can change language and sign out.
Manager names are partly masked: with several name parts, the first name remains recognisable and the other parts show only their initial. There are no email links. You can also see whether managers were notified by email. Contact your club for help. Successful registration therefore does not always mean you can open your team immediately.
