Dugout
Purpose: An adaptive coach start page. On phone and desktop, it shows all teams you coach, relevant matches and direct next steps.
Features:
- Team selection: All teams you coach, sorted by name. Click a team to make it active.
- Club requests: Club managers see the number of access requests awaiting review at the top. View requests opens them in Users & access. The notice disappears when all requests are handled. Administrators linked to a club also see requests for their own club.
- Mobile overview: A compact status line, key live or upcoming matches and comfortable team buttons appear first, rather than shrunken desktop cards.
- Team statistics: Automatically calculated player counts, upcoming matches, average player fitness and position coverage.
- Prepared matches: When several matches are upcoming, the team tile shows how many are prepared, such as 1 / 4. Click the tile and choose a match by date and opponent. Prepared opens the substitution schedule; Scheduled opens preparation. A single match opens directly.
- Match calendar: Scheduled and previous matches for selected teams, with opponent and date.
- Training overview: Session, plan and exercise counts for each team, with status labels (on track / needs attention / empty).
- Secondary positions toggle: Choose whether secondary player positions count towards position coverage.
- Roadmap / news: Tabs show current and future doHockey releases, planned improvements and open issues grouped by version milestone.
- Forum posts: Recent support forum posts appear in the hub.
Notes:
- While club access awaits approval, only the application notice appears, with partly masked manager names and no email links. The menu, Dugout, news and support panels are unavailable. You can change language and sign out.
- Dugout is the coach starting point; administrators without coach teams are automatically sent to the administration dashboard.
- Some information may be temporarily unavailable when a connected service is unavailable.
