Club overview

The club overview is a club manager’s daily workspace. It shows key club figures, items needing attention, upcoming matches and current team staffing. This makes it clear where a coach, player or match preparation needs attention.

Current season and history

The operational overview shows teams and coaches for the active season. Team-assignment alerts and upcoming matches also belong to that season. A player who only belongs to an old team therefore does not count as assigned in the new season. User and player totals remain club-wide, as indicated in the overview.

Teams from other seasons lists the remaining teams with their season and status. Open a team to continue in its season context. History is retained. If the active season is unavailable, no season-specific alerts are shown.

What the overview shows

  • Club name, logo, contact details, assigned managers and club figures at the top.
  • Pending access requests with name, email address, team and request date.
  • Counts of teams, coaches, users, players and shared exercises.
  • Teams without an assigned coach and players without a team.
  • Upcoming matches and lineup status.
  • One list of current teams with player, coach and match counts.
  • A compact list of club users, their club role and coach or trainer functions.

Alerts appear only when something needs doing. Teams, upcoming matches, staffing and teams from other seasons appear directly, without expansion buttons.

Club users shows up to five users sorted by name. The count covers the whole club. View all users opens Users & access, where you can view and manage the complete list. Refresh also updates the user list.

Rows and follow-up actions open the relevant team or administration screen. A club manager only sees their own club’s information. Platform-wide club administration remains restricted to the platform administrator.

Edit club at the top opens Club details, where you can update club information and the logo. Upload your own logo, choose a Dutch club logo from the list or remove the current logo, then save. Add user and Add player open the corresponding form for your club.

Reviewing access requests

A compact notification also appears at the top of the Dugout when access requests are pending. View requests opens the requests in Users & access. The notification disappears once all requests are handled.

The menu shows the pending request count beside Users & access. The club overview shows up to three requests above the teams. View all access requests opens the full list. Check who registered and for which team before deciding.

Someone registering with a known club can already sign in to view their application status. The account only receives club and team access after approval.

Each request clearly shows the Requested team. For a new team, Approve & create team creates it in the active season and immediately links the user as a coach. This works for teams selected from the team list and manually entered teams. If the team now exists, it is reused.

For an existing team, Approve grants access and links the user. The confirmation states whether a new team was created or an existing team reused.

Approve user only grants club access alone. No team is created and the user is not linked to an existing team. You can arrange that later. The confirmation and decision email state that only club access was approved.

Reject denies access; the account remains. Rejection asks for confirmation first. A handled request disappears from the list.

The user sees the decision in doHockey and receives an email. If the decision email is not sent, the overview reports this; the decision remains saved. A request remains available if the original notification email was not received or its link expired.

Managing users

In Users & access, use the pencil to edit a user and the team icon to link a team. Hovering over the icons shows an explanation.

The bin lets you delete an ordinary user from your own club. First, a confirmation shows their name and email address. Deletion is permanent and the user can no longer sign in. Your own account and administrator accounts have no deletion icon. Deletion is blocked when linked content remains. The message lists teams, seasons and linked-content counts within your club. Other links appear by category and count, such as registration details or forum contributions; ask a platform administrator for help if needed.
