Guides and practical help for coaches, teams, players and trainers.

Maintenance and availability

doHockey is updated regularly. During planned maintenance, a workspace may be temporarily unavailable or show a maintenance screen.

If the live connection cannot be established or drops, a small notice appears in the homepage header below the navigation. It explains that the management workspace may temporarily work poorly or with limited functionality. doHockey automatically retries the connection; the notice disappears after recovery. If you are offline, the notice says so. A connection problem can also be caused by your own network and does not automatically mean the whole platform is down.

Live in the portal

The status page shows the measured live portal connections for production and test. It uses the same count as the portal user card. Multiple tabs may count separately; the count does not show how many different people are actively working.

The count sits compactly beside Production and Test. Tap or click the number for its measurement time and explanation. The measurement refreshes every ten seconds while the page is visible. Without a recent measurement, the count shows a dash and the explanation says Unknown. A measured 0 means that no connections were counted at that moment. This is a snapshot and does not guarantee that nobody still has work open.

What can you do?

  1. Wait a few minutes, then refresh the page.
  2. Check support for a general notice.
  3. Avoid repeating the same action rapidly.
  4. If the problem persists, report what you tried to do and on which screen.

Do not share passwords, access codes or personal details in a public report. Use the Community Center or support centre for questions and known problems.
