doHockey documentation
Guides and practical help for coaches, teams, players and trainers.
How we build doHockey
doHockey develops through short iterations: describe a practical problem, develop and test a solution, then refine it through experience.
AI-assisted, human-directed
AI helps with analysis, design, documentation, writing code and reviewing it. People remain responsible for direction, decisions and final assessment. New features must fit hockey practice and remain understandable to new users.
Our approach
- Start with a concrete task for a coach, trainer or team manager.
- Clarify the information structure and user flow first.
- Build in small, reviewable steps.
- Check behaviour, readability and different screen sizes.
- Incorporate feedback and document visible behaviour.
Ongoing development
A shared indoor and outdoor match scenario allows an AI agent to run through the interface automatically on request, with screenshots and a results report. Read how we test indoor and outdoor matches.
The platform changes regularly. A screen may temporarily be ahead of its guide, or a feature may still be marked as in development. Feedback from the application and Community Center helps determine the next improvements.
