Guide a duel outside

Delay in balance and screen the central route.

3 players · 7 min · 18 × 10 m

The animation shows one played situation with a decision and response, not a required pattern. Regains and restarts are marked schematically; stop unsafe pressure. Finishes use unoccupied practice goals with clear run-off.

Organisation

A1 attacks B1; A2 feeds from the start. A central mini-goal and wide outside gate provide two different targets.

Execution

A2 feeds A1 then waits outside the duel. A1 earns two points for a low central goal, one for the outside gate. B1 scores on out-of-bounds or a clean regain. An attempt lasts at most ten seconds. Rotate feeder, attacker and defender every attempt.

Coaching

  • Start with the inside closed.
  • Recover distance when the attacker accelerates.
  • Conceding a safe outside route can be a success.

Easier

Start A1 after a stationary reception.

Harder

A2 may feed to different starting depths.

What to observe

Record central goals, outside crossings and clean stops separately.

Equipment

Sticks, one active ball, spare balls outside the area and cones; mini-goals where drawn. Dimensions and duration are adaptable starting proposals.
